Creative Headline Contest Kicks Off 2010

Emerson, NJ - To celebrate the start of 2010, MRC Medical Communications, a full service strategic marketing communications firm, has launched an interactive, online contest allowing healthcare marketers worldwide to exercise their creativity and have a chance to win their choice of prizes - all while raising funds for charity.

Participants, visiting the company website at www.mrcmedical.net, are challenged to come up with their best headline or caption for any of 3 intriguing hospital-themed pictures. The winner of the contest will have his or her choice of an Apple iPhone 3GS, Garmin GPS or a Barnes & Noble Nook. All participants will also be entered in a random drawing for another winners choice prize. MRC Medical will donate $1.00 for each entry to Give Kids the World, a 70-acre, non-profit resort in Central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. In 2009 GKTW was selected as MRC Medicals designated charity, www.firstgiving.com/mrcmedicalcommunications.

Contest participants can enter once by going directly to the companys website. Those participants wanting to play more than once can do so by either becoming a Fan of MRC Medical on Facebook or by following the company on Twitter.

MRC Medical is promoting the contest, which runs until March 17th 2010, through a combined public relations, online marketing and social media campaign.

This program is one way to bring the healthcare marketing community together in a fun relaxing way, said MRC Medicals Director of New Business Development, Susan Rector. We hope providing healthcare marketers with a break from their daily routine and a chance to stretch their creative muscles will be fun and enjoyable while raising money for a worthwhile cause.
